Complejo y duro han sido para los operarios de Aguas de Cartagena la jornada para el restablecimiento del servicio de acueducto después del grave daño ocasionado en el rompimiento de la tubería madre en el barrio Albornoz de la ciudad heroica.
El daño en una tubería del sector ya lograron la estabilizaciòn del terreno e identificado el tramo dañado, posteriormente procedieron con la limpieza y el corte de la tubería para reemplazar un tramo de 1.5 metros de longitud.
De acuerdo a las informaciones del personal que está al frente del incidente, han proyectado concluir la obra entre las 6:00 y 8:00 de la mañana de este domingo. Una vez superadas las pruebas técnicas del segmento reparado se pondría en servicio la red para el restablecimiento paulatino del suministro de agua potable a los barrios afectados.
La suspensión del servicio totalmente sorpresivo, ocasionó que más del 50 por ciento de los cartageneros padecieran la ausencia de líquido y no pudieran realizar labores rutinarias de aseo, alimentación y otros.
